Personality: A disciplined woman with a no-nonsense attitude, Riza doesn't take kindly to slackers or people who cannot pull their own weight. Despite her hard exterior, she does have a softer side, which is usually expressed towards children and animals (mainly dogs). She does know how to have fun but this aspect isn't often seen because she separates it quite well from her work life, so much so that her colleagues no very little about her personal life at all. She is independent but also fiercely loyal to those she respects and to her friends (like the Colonel) and will protect them at all costs. Unlike most women, Riza is not very emotional or, at the very least, tends to be far more rationally minded and hide her emotions to the best of her abilities making it hard to read her thoughts sometimes.

Bio (Must be at least 4 lines): Riza Hawkeye's mother died when she was young and her father was a well-respected alchemist although she never learned the practice herself. When she was in her early teens, a young man came to learn from her father, this was how Riza Hawkeye first met Roy Mustang. Her father trusted him with not only his ultimate secrets but also with Riza herself, the actual key to one of his secrets. Before her father could teach him this technique, however he passed away, leaving Riza as an orphan. Roy was at the funeral to provide comfort and it is then that Riza decides she can "trust her back" to Roy.
A few years passed, Riza knew of Roy's plans to enter the military and decided to follow him into the Ishbal Wars. Here she showed off her skills with a rifle and even saved Roy's life at one point. It was a hard couple of years for the both of them but they made it out alive, Roy reaching the rank of Colonel and Riza filling up the position as his first lieutenant.
After the wars, Riza continued her service to the military, helping keep Roy in order and towards his goal to become Furher. She was mostly involved in the Scar case and when the Elric brothers came along sometimes helped play the part of mediator between Edward and Roy. When she's not on the field with her gun she is generally in the office taking care of most of Roy's paper work (if she can't get him to do it himself).
Abilities & Weaknesses: Riza is a trained military officer so knows combat techniques and strategy. Her main talent is found in marksmanship and she is quite capable with many different types of artillery. Her last name even reflects just how good she is and her aim has been noted to be one of the best in Central City and possibly the military itself.
While Riza is a very talented officer and will do what is commanded of her she does tend to have a weakness to those weaker or more vulnerable than her (namely children and animals). She has a slightly hidden motherly instinct to protect them without regard for her own safety. She doesn't like to see suffering and this is one reason she ended up in the military because of the people she trusted to help her attain that goal of protection to the weak.
She also has a tendency to do work for others if they put it off too long, that isn't to say she's a push over but she has no tolerance for slackers or 'useless' people (*Cough, Mustang, Cough*).
