Homecoming

Lientra walked into the ruined temple, the heavy doors swinging shut behind her. She stood there for a moment, frozen. This had been the place where she'd grown up. Her people no longer inhabited Ishval, and she had been driven out long ago.
She sighed.

Riza opened the doors and walked into the temple.
'An Ishvalan...?'
She thought as the doors slammed shut. She walked to the girl and stood behind her.
"Hello, Miss."

Lientra jumped slightly and turned around, cocking her head to the side at the newcomer. "Hello...?" She said, slightly confused as to why anyone would be there.

"Would you know of anyone else here, Ma'am?"
Riza had been sent there by the military to do a census check.

Lientra shook her head. "No one that I know of..." She trailed off, spying the badge on the other woman's shirt. "You're from the military?"

Riza nodded.
"First Lieutenant Hawkeye."
She reached out her hand to the girl, expecting a handshake.

Lientra straightened, taking the hand with a smile. "Specialist Lientra Albatross." She said, nodding recognition at Riza's name.

"Oh? Your in the military aswell?"
Riza raised her eyebrows, trying to remember the name 'Albatross'.

She nodded slightly. "Yes, though I'm not usually assigned anything in particular." She admitted, frowning slightly and shrugged.
