Upon a Rooftop

Alzmer was quite tiered after along day of just walking around and seeing the town, everything looked the same to him. His hair was tied back and now wore black leather gloves. He went in to the apartment and instead of going to his he took the stairs and went to the roof. He sat on a small bench that allowed him to have an overview of the city he had been traveling through today.

Time: 8:25

Roy was down in his apartment, feeling bored. He decided to go up onto the rooftop and sit, it was where he usually sat to think. He walked up the stairs and opened the door, stepping onto the roof.

Alzmer continued to watch the veiw, he almost look entranced in it. He didn't even notice that an other man had came up.

Roy walked up behind the guy in the bench. He was surprised to see anyone there. He was glad he'd changed into his uniform, it would have been embarasing for the guy to see him in his pajamas. "Hello there," he said, tapping Alzmer on the shoulder.

He quickly jumped up and spun around looking at Roy in a defensive way. His eye were a cold souless blue, and he looked like he was ready to strike the man. "What do you want?" He said in a calm quiet manner. His eyes studied the man closely and carefully, as he took a more formal postion.

Roy raised his hands in the air. "I don't want any trouble," He said slowly, "Just wondering what you're doing up here."

"I'm here to look at the veiw." He said trying to think of who he was, Alzmer knew he had seen the man before.
"Hmmm, your a state alchemist aren't you? You look familiar...have we met before?"

Roy squinted at the kid. "I'm not sure. I'm Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist."

"I'm Alzmer." He said simply, Alzmer didn't look like an alchemist in any real way. His only sign that he was an alchemist was covered by his gloves. He waited for the man to respond he wasn't sure on what he shhould say next.

Roy's forhead wrinkled up; he was deep in thought, trying to remember if he knew the name.

Alzmer lost most memories of his past and was interested if Roy knew him and if he did maybe he could tell him about himself and what Alzmer was like when he was younger.

"The name does sound famaliar," Roy muttered. He shrugged. "Can't place it though. Sorry."

"It's alright." Alzmer said with a slightly disappointed voice. "I lost most of my memory so I thought you might of been someone from my past."

"I may be," Roy said, "But if I am I don't remember." But he felt like he should.

"It's fine, if you are...maybe in time you will remember so." Alzmer said as he slowly took of his gloves which revealed 14 transmutation circles between both his hands. "So Roy Mustang what is your talent as an alchemist?"

Roy eyed the circles on Alzmer's palms. "Flame alchemy," He said, "Yours?"

"I'm like a jack of all trades, but I can also do bone alchemy on myself." Alzmer said with a small smile, he wasn't sure if bone alchemy was common or if he was the only one who used it, but had never seen anyone else use it before.

"Really?" Roy had heard of bone alchemy, but never seen it performed. "Can you show me?"

"This rather painful to use, so please understand that I'd prefer to only use it if needed." He said remembering showing Riza it, his finger still felt a bit sore from it.

"Ah, I understand," Roy said with a nod.

"Let just leave it as it is a very dangerous alchemy." Alzmer said shifting his eyes.

Roy remembered what he'd told Lana once. All alchemy is dangerous if you don't know how to use it... He nodded again. "Yes, I've heard of that."

"With it your always gonna get hurt, I don't know of anyone else that can use it." He said flexing his fingers a bit.

Roy shrugged. "Who knows?"

"Is their an archieve of people that lived here or might have worked here of anything like that?" Alzmer just thought, if Roy could acess something like that, maybe he could uncover some of his past.
